PIONEERING SPIRIT is a true-life story about transformation, self-development and healing, showing how our past may hold the key to understanding and healing our present day life experiences. It began as a memoir of my mother, Joan Brownrigg, who at the end of her life asked me to write her life story as she said she had enough stories to fill a book! Initially I was reluctant to take on board the task she entrusted to me despite having faith I could do justice to her request.  However, life has a habit of taking you where you least want to go! Eventually I agreed and embarked on a conscious writing journey that has taken 13 years to reach completion.
